• Power, gas & consumption: 

The Ripack 3000 delivers adjustable thermal power typically ranging between 45 – 80 kW, with an adjustable working pressure of 1.5 to 3.5 bar. Gas consumption depends on the settings and gas type, typically between 3.0 – 5.5 kg/hour when using propane. We recommend using propane gas (or bio-propane) for optimal performance. Use with natural gas is possible with a dedicated conversion kit/version (otherwise reduced output). Butane is not recommended. 

• Patented cold nozzle & Securipack safety: 

The unique cold nozzle design ensures the barrel remains relatively cool after use, significantly reducing the risk of burns. The integrated Securipack safety system continuously monitors gas pressure and automatically shuts off the gas supply in case of hose rupture or irregularities, ensuring maximum operator safety. 

• Ergonomics, power & mobility: 

The Ripack 3000 is lightweight and ergonomically designed, with a hand weight of approximately 1.25 kg. The shrink gun is perfectly balanced, making it suitable for prolonged indoor and outdoor use. The burner head rotates 360° and is removable. Extension lances are available up to 187 cm, ideal for working at height or covering large surfaces.

The output is infinitely adjustable, allowing quick switching between thin shrink film/small packages and thick shrink hoods or large pallets. Thanks to the short, rigid flame and focused heat distribution, the film shrinks quickly and evenly, resulting in higher productivity. Typical shrink time ranges from 30 to 90 seconds, depending on pallet size and film thickness. 

• Noise level & environmental performance: 

The Ripack 3000 shrink gun operates at a noise level of below 85 dB(A), depending on configuration and gas pressure. By selecting the correct gas type and optimal settings, combustion efficiency can be improved, contributing to reduced environmental impact.

Usage tips 

• Keep the shrink gun approximately 30 cm from the film and work in smooth, continuous movements; adjust speed according to film thickness. 
• For pallet shrink wrapping: start at the bottom and work upwards in a Z-pattern. Leave 20–30 cm of film overlap for strong edges and reliable sealing. 
• Use the correct gas pressure setting (1.5–3.5 bar) and always test on a trial pallet first. 
• Regularly check the Securipack safety system according to the manual (recommended test intervals and maintenance instructions).
